Learning to listen to your body is one of the best ways to maintain and boost your health. Your body is an intelligent and self healing organism and therefore tells you how to take care of it. In today’s episode I share 4 tips on how to listen to your body in order to create maximum and optimum health and vitality.

If you struggle with any ailments chances are that you could improve this skill because before any disease becomes rampant or proliferated your body gives you tell tale signs that something is out of alignment or out of homeostasis. The key to listening to your body and getting healthy is learning to understand the language of your body. Symptoms like coughing, itchy throat, skin eruptions or legions, constipation or diarrhea, not being able to sleep, headaches, and much more are your body’s way of telling you that something is wrong. I

It could be that you aren’t getting enough rest, that you aren’t eating the right foods, that you aren’t taking care of your emotional health, and much more. The key is to pay attention to whatever symptoms or sensations that you may experience to give your body what it needs in order to thrive. Listening to your body is like listening to your car, if your car starts making weird noises you know that something is wrong and needs to be fixed. Symptoms and ailments are your bodies signals to you to get back into homeostasis.

When you learn how to listen to your body you reduce your need for doctor’s visits, you get into shape, you maintain good health and hygiene, and you increase your energy and vitality, which in turns allows you to be more of a force in the world you live in.

Listening to your body I feel is one of the most important and intuitive skills you can learn as long as you are housed in one ;).
